Three more pictures with this group showing some progress, more will get done after they finish their break tho. Some of the shed dormer in the back of the house is in view. Six more working days left til I retire. I'm getting as anxious as a little kid getting ready to go to Disney Land the first time. Probably no more pictures tho until after that time.

Eight pictures this time and now the action is picking up. Here are some changes that you can see but most of them are on the inside. Probably won't be any more pictures until around the 20th and a week after that I'll be outta Oma-hell and away from the Railroad for good.

Starting on the porch roof.

Working on the beams for the porch ceiling & roof.

All of the beams are up now. The boards on top are for safety for the workers and will become the roof later, but you can get a feel for what it will be like when the loft floor goes up.

Stairwell to the basement, over that will be the stairway to the loft and master bedroom.

I had to brighten this one up a little so the beams would be a little easier to see. Looking from the back bedroom towards where the utility room, kitchen & dining room will be.

Getting Ready For The Second Floor

There are three pictures for this post. They are showing the beams being put in for the second floor of the house. We hope to have more pictures to post by the middle of next week.
